Character Education in Action
Goal 13 brings character development to the forefront of youth sports through a professionally produced Character Education Video Series featuring collegiate athletes, professional athletes, and coaches sharing real experiences and lessons from their own journeys.
Each student-athlete is paired with a trained mentor who guides them through the program, helping them reflect on the lessons shared in each video and connect important character traits to their own experiences.
The videos are supported by a structured curriculum, student reflection, and meaningful mentor discussions designed to help young athletes apply these lessons on the field, in the classroom, at home, and in their communities.
Our goal is to expand the reach of this programming through partnerships with schools, athletic clubs, nonprofits, coaches, and other organizations serving young student-athletes. By providing videos, workbooks, discussion guides, and implementation resources, Goal 13 can help more young people develop the character and life skills that extend far beyond sport.
