Our Impact
Goal 13 continues to grow its reach while staying focused on meaningful, personal support for young student-athletes. Through character education, one-on-one mentorship, whole-group programming across our five pillars and individualized resources, we are helping young people build the character, skills, confidence, and support systems they need to succeed in sport and in life.
In 2026, Goal 13 has expanded our programming at Carolina Core FC Academy from serving three boys’ teams to working with six boys’ teams and six girls’ teams, ranging in age groups from U12 to U19. This growth allows Goal 13 to reach more student-athletes than ever before during a critical time in their development.
In 2026, we added a new partnership with First Tee of the Triad. Through this partnership, Goal 13 will work with a special group of First Tee student-athletes to present our Character Education Program and connect them with mentors who can encourage and guide them throughout the experience.
As Goal 13 continues to grow, our mission remains the same: to honor Holden’s legacy by helping young student-athletes become strong leaders, caring teammates, and purpose-driven individuals. We are incredibly grateful to the donors, volunteers, mentors, partners, and families who have made this growth possible.
Our programming is intentionally built around Goal 13’s five pillars, creating meaningful opportunities that help each student-athlete grow both on and off the field. Through character education, mentorship, life skills, leadership development, service, health and wellness initiatives, and educational development, we are helping young athletes build the skills, confidence, and habits they need to succeed in sports, school, and life.
